Remember

***It was cold outside, but anyway the three of them prefered to be on the balcony away from the solemn looking faces of the crowd inside the building.

Slippy's sobs could be heard now and then, despite how hard he tried to not cry out loud, while Fox was lost in thought, thinking of the many things that would change from now on, of the similar experiences he had before. Falco was the one that seemed to be taking this better than them, but deep inside that façade he was heart-broken.

It was time to break the long silence that had fallen upon the three males, and it was Falco's doing in the end.

'Do you remember when... when he used to scold us on missions? Man... He made me feel like a brat sometimes..!'

Fox chuckled, rised his head a bit but didn't look back at Falco, instead he stared off in the distance. 'We were such brats then...' Slippy broke off with a rather loud sob, hicupping a bit. 'H-he...he was like a second f-father to me..!'

An actual father, thought Falco, as he had been the only one the avian actually had had. Fox nodded and smiled softly. 'Do you remember when Peppy..? [...]'***
